High school sweethearts Robert Lee and Laurie Lynn embarked on a journey to turn their shared dream into reality. During their high school years, they worked at the local Dairy Queen®, like many of our current team members. Their goal was to one day own their own business, and their dream came true sooner and more successfully than they could have ever imagined.

In March of 1987, Robert and Laurie relocated from Premont, TX, to the Rio Grande Valley, where they purchased their first Dairy Queen® in Pharr, TX. It took years of hard work, but with faith and determination, their business began to grow exponentially.

Over the next three decades, their dedication and passion led to remarkable growth. Today, Robert and Laurie, along with their children Lensda and her husband David, and Bob (The Lozano Family) are proud owners of over 40 restaurant locations, including Dairy Queen®, Schlotzsky’s®, and Cinnabon® units across Texas. Their family business now employs hundreds of dedicated team members.

But the journey doesn’t stop there. With Lensda, David, Bob, and the entire F&P Group team at the helm, the future is filled with exciting possibilities.
